Dear Educators:
The specific goals of this workshop as outlined in the presentation schedule, is to provide educators with a thorough understanding of Attention Deficit Disorder, how it is diagnosed, the pertinent underlying neuropsychological issues, the disorder's relatedness to learning and processing problems, and reasonable interventions.
My hope is that this workshop will be the first of an ongoing series where several different topics are explored. I would like there workshops to be professionally interactive where we can share information. successes, problems, and frustrations. I intend to present theory, research, and strategies from the professional literature as well as my own practice. I wish to ceate a forum where educators can share information and brainstorm creative solutions to classroom problems and also have access to a professional such as I who is trained in school neuropsychology.
I hope to see you at the June 28th workshop or at one in the near future.
